Ukrzaliznytsia will raise the tariff for export transportation of metal scrap by 70%

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has agreed with the Ministry of Transport proposal to raise the tariff for rail transportation of exported metal scrap by 70%. That was reported by the agency Ukrayinski Novyny with reference to Minister of Industrial Policy Oleksandr NEUSTROYEV.
He noted that nowadays export licensees are given to enterprises provided that they ensure 80% of their supplies to the internal market.
Mr. NEUSTROYEV marked that the Ministry of Industrial Policy intends to maintain the same ratio in future as well.
Minister of Economy Mykola DERKACH reported to journalists that his Ministry had also approved the decision about the rise of the tariff for export transportation of metal scrap.
As it has been already reported, the State Administration of Rail Transport Ukrzaliznytsia has formerly announced about its intention to raise the tariff coefficient for export transportation of iron-and-steel scrap by 30%.
In March the Cabinet of Ministers permitted Ukrzaliznytsia to raise the tariff for export transportation of coking coal and coke by 75%.
